The Road to Restoration

Life is like a coin having only two definite sides, when we are born into this life two paths stretch out before us one narrow and seemingly restrictive another broad and ‘strictless’. On the broad path anything is permissible we can say anything that comes to mind hurtful swear words/insults that are accepted as modern norms, we can drink anything even liver and brain cell damaging liquor, we can breath any type of air even that which undoubtedly damages our lungs (Tobacco) its even written on the pack, we watch anything shows or movies with cold blooded brutality and indescency are the trending ones, I can go on and on but this isn’t the focal point of this message that is to condemn people who do all these things; the focus is Gods Loving call to you, He knows all too well the destructive effects of a reckless life the sickness, pain and sometimes even death it sooner or later leads to, therefore He calls us to come to Him the source of our Hope ‘Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.’ Matthew 11:28. Some of us could be holding on to a sinful habit/vice that we take pleasure in, don’t we all? Even something as small as lying, backbiting is enough to ruin you and me. God with a heart of love is pleading with you and me even now, to let go of Sin and cling to His saving outstretched arm before its too late to be saved. Its hard I know too well but its not in your strength that you will overcome but its in Gods strength ‘But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.’ 1Cor 15:57 You can stop using Vulgar language, you can conquer Alcohol addiction, you can part company with Smoking that leads to Cancer and Brain Impairment and thereafter live a better life one filled with the hope of long life and happiness. BEARING YOUR CROSS

“It is good for a man to bear the yoke in his youth”  Lamentations 3:27 Even as young as you are busy with the pursuits of attaining a living on earth, sometimes you may feel too young to bear heavy responsibility, to the contrary to your thoughts endeavor at such a tender age to bear the yoke of Christ laboring for souls that He has paid the price for, His yoke is easy and His burden is light. He gives you the strength you need Isaiah 40:31 says ‘But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.’ Prayer Focus: God help me to be zealous for you in my youth, when my strength is optimal may I by your grace embark on spiritual missions that your name may be praised in all the earth. In Jesus name Amen

Leaping into action

Its very easy to get comfortable and do things in a sub-standard mediocre way, by so doing we use less effort and simply get by. Great achievers never settle for less they aim for the stars beyond our galaxy, they pursue excellence with a passion; that is the kind of passion that makes the greater strides of our development as humanity. Never give up but strive, dare to achieve the impossible of course within the limits of sanity ‘do not try to jump off the tallest building you know and survive’: what I mean in simple terms is: that A+ in your course of study is a target that should not seem far fetched, let the higher standards of achievement be your norm and target.
